Beautiful early mourning pin. Tested 9K gold with a chain design border. Under the glass there is a detailed brown lock with black hair braided around it. Photos do not show the hair clearly as I would like unfortunately. Some images were taken in bright light to show some detail. The hair is not gray as the bright light makes it appear. Has original pin and could be used as a pendant if a bale or loop is added. Nice size measuring approx. 1.25\" x 1\". Very pretty eye catching.
May need a light cleaning. I have not a cleaned this in any way. There is light scratch marks on the back commemorative with age. Offers accepted. Please ask if any questions.
