A stunning Victorian 9ct Solid Gold Starburst \'Floral Motif\' Holbein (Pendant/Brooch) c1890, which is set with beautiful fine Seed Pearls(please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form anintegral part of the item\'s description).
The fabulous \'Floral Motif\' design, which has been crafted in 9ct Gold consists of a four point star shape joined by a further four round terminals; all radiating from the centre and set with fine Seed Pearls to create a Pendant/Brooch that is just sublime.Typical of the period this fine quality Holbein (Pendant/Brooch) is stamped \'9ct\' on the reverse confirming that it is made from Solid 9ct Gold.
The overall condition of this piece is great with only light wear commensurate with age; the Holbein is complete with it\'s original hinge & clasp (although the pin appears to be a historic replacement). It comes with it\'s original Pearl set bail, which allows this stunning Victorian Jewel to be worn either as a Pendant or as a Brooch, just as you desire.
