A stunning Victorian Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Peridot & Seed Pearl set Holbein (Pendant/Brooch); thecentral oval faceted Peridot millegrain set surrounded by Seed Pearls within an Art Nouveau inspired stylized \'heart shaped\' openwork design(please study the detailed close-up photographs, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful antique Brooch/Pendant is stamped \'9ct\' on the reverse, as shown, confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold. Overall it is in great condition; although it may originally have had a Drop it is still a beautiful jewel and comes complete with a good hinge, pin and clasp and only requires the addition of a bail should you choose to wear it as a Pendant (although a chain could easily just be threaded through the hanging loop on the reverse side).
As previously mentioned this fine antique Holbein can be worn as either a Brooch, or as a Pendant, just as you desire, and it has the following dimensions: length approx\' 3.9cms by a width of approx\' 2.6cms and it weighs 4.0 grams.
In summary, a wonderful Art Nouveau 9ct Gold Holbein dating to c1895, centrally set with a gorgeous Peridot gemstone surrounded by fine Seed Pearls - just sublime.
