Very pretty and unusal Victorian skirt. This is an olive green color with the bottom a dark green velvet. In some lighting the green is lighter. The bottom has pink leafs/roses, and a quilted embroidered swirling design. The stitching design consists of a lighter green/gold and brighter red. In overall good condition and is wearable. There are condition issues that can be most likely mended. The waistband shows wear but is intact, as well as the button hole. The button appears to possibly be glass (replaced?). This skirt has no lining.
The quilted bottom has some pulled threads and wear to the bottom hem. The velvet also shows some fading. Nothing that takes away from the aesthetics. The roses are bright as well as the threads. The olive linen shows some scattered small holes and a few tears/undone seams (see images). They all could possibly mended by hand or secured with backing. This could use a light cleaning. I have not cleaned this item in any way.
This skirt is very beautiful in design. Would make a great winter under skirt.This is a nice size. Measures 16\" across the waist and 36\" down center front and back.
