This is a beautiful antique Victorian era purse that is comprised of a gorgeous floral flower pattern of tiny seed beads. A lot of time and energy was put into making this purse and it shows. Intricate detail in the silver-pewter-colored metal frame and mounting that leads into the satchel part of the purse is stunning. Please note, as a fragile, delicate antique piece of fashion history, this purse does show signs of wear. It appears the inside lining has been replaced by hand at some point with a pink material; you can see the non-professional hand stitching in the photos both inside and outside of the purse. It also appears that there has been some repair to some of the bead work on the exterior. You\'ll also see there are some frayed pieces of thread throughout the piece, and the chain handle has clearly been replaced sometime in the later part of the 1900s, with what appears to have once been a necklace.Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.From a smoke-free home.
