You are looking at anAntique Victorian Gold Top Engraved Walking Stick Cane Signed 1888 Thomas Fox. I did some research and I believe that Thomas Fox was a soldier that was a member of the 7th Calvary in the Civil War. This cane has a makers mark andsignature. I am not sure what it says though.This item is in antique condition. There are some dents in the metal. Also there was a previous break in the wood. Someone was attempting to fix it but didn\'t finish. I know that mixing some paint with fiberglass filler should do the trick. I left it for the collector to refurbish themselves. Please see photos closely for more detail. It measures 33 inches long the head at its widest point has a diameter of 1.25 inches. The head is 2.25 inches long. Thank you so much for looking!
