this is a Victorian Aesthetic Centerpiece basket by Reed and Barton in a lovely tropical pattern standing 7.5 inches to the rim, 15.25 to the top of the handle and 9.75 inches wide at the widest point. The basket features a tropical scene with sailing boats, the rising sun, Flamingos and a Grecian urn of flowers. The silver plate is very shiny, there are no monograms or dents. No repairs and the handle works as it should. There is a place with wear in the bowl which can be seen in the pictures. Just a Superb Victorian Aesthetic basket.
