Antique Victorian Woven Hair Mourning Necklace With Locket, Initials C.R.:

Necklace and locket in very good condition. The necklace is made of brunette hair and there is a little bit of fraying where the hair is attached to the accent pieces. The locket is about .5” square and is beautifully engraved with lots of details and the initials C. R. The back of the locket does have an indentation as shown in the photos. Inside, the locket has two pieces of beveled glass. I do not know the material the locket is made of. It is not marked but it does look like gold. It was not tested. The necklace is about 21” long. Overall, it is an extraordinary piece.
