Iknow very little about this item. It\'s dated on bottom of wood plankand difficult to read, but I believe it says, \"PAT.?D APRIL 20 SEP 8 1897\"...or somethingvery similar. I did nothing at all to try and clean, polish or shine it and will leave to buyer if he/she would like to do any of those things. Therefore, it is beingsold AS IS and as pictured. Please see photos for they are part of the description. There will also be 11pictures that I\'ll include FREE because they aren\'t in the greatest shape.
