This is a black baby dolls from the 1920\'s-1930\'s. There are no maker\'s marks. She is 15\" long. Head and body are made of composition, hair is molded, head and limbs are jointed. Her painted eyes glance sideways.She is in fair condition with crazing and two areas of chipping off of paint layer: one on the head and one on her right leg. Head and arm joints are somewhat loose, legs are quite snug.Her romper seems to be newer than doll, but still vintage. I believe it is hand made with the front applique hand stitched on. Socks appear to be silk or perhaps rayon.She is a sweet doll!
