For sale is the Antique Vintage Deagan Four Tone Chime pictured above. It is my belief that this item was a gift from NBC Anchor Dave Garroway to Howard T. Johnston Jr. in appreciation as shown in the letter that comes with it. Postmarked July, 6 1949 that includes a thank you and signature on the NBC station head Merchandise Mart. Also included is the original mallet as well. I can identify a Deagans Maker Mark with the number 300 (it\'s difficult to make out, that\'s what number it looks like to me. The tone of the chime is good but the items do indeed have wear.
