The History

NavajoIndian silversmiths, working from 1870 to 1900, learned the stamping of Indianornaments from Mexican leather workers, rather than from the silversmiths whohad taught them. Stampings are usually hand hammered using a handcrafted stampand include traditional Native American symbols.

The Piece

The earrings are crafted out of solid sterling silver and feature beautiful handmade Navajo work throughout including hand punched stamp work along the front of the earrings and the border on the backside as well! The earrings include a carved disk shape and concave shape as well.

The earrings measure 1 and 1/4\" by 1\". They include posts for pierced ears.
