This is a Rare Antique/VintagePaper Mache STORK. It was used as a store display. I got it over 40 years ago when it was going to be discardedas an old windowdisplay that wasn\'t wanted anymore. I don\'t know how old it is but it was already quite old when I got it.The beak is wooden and the legs are wooden with paper mache knees. Itisabout24\" tall.It would look amazing in a nursery or as a decorator piece.There are some lightmarks and scratches and one chip on the back of the base (see picture). There are 2 vintage unused postcards that I put in his beak because they had storks in the pictures and they looked cute that way where I displayed it in my sunroom. They are not in great shape but I will include them because they are so fun in his beak. The condition is excellent considering the age and I haven\'t ever seen one like it anywhere. I hate to part with it but I just don\'t have a place for it anymore.
