Here is a lovely antique turkey candy container made of paper mache or papier mache. He’s over 3 ½” tall. His paint is still very bright and his glaze is nice. He has a few missing paint flakes, mostly around the edge of the tail (please see photos).

This is the same container I already sold that has “Made in Western Germany U.S. Zone” ink stamped on the bottom of the paper stopper. The ink stamp on the paper stopper in this case is faint, but the turkey is identical and they were found together, so I do not hesitate to say he is the same.
