Offered for sale is a Wonderful Antique Continental Silver Miniature of a Ox-Drawn Carriage.

The carriage or cart is being pulled by 2 oxen and a man is leading them.

Thereare 2people sitting inside and one is holding an umbrella (looks like a man and a woman).

This piece bears the silver Hallmarks for Portugal:A seated boar and \"II\" which indicates it is 833 silver and it was made between 1886 and 1938. There is another mark there as well but it is difficult to ascertain what it is....perhaps the maker\'s mark. Please see photos.

It measures approx. 3 1/2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 inch wide.

It weighs approx. 25 grams.

It is in excellent antique condition. I have polished this piece gently. Minor wear consistent with age, gentle use and storage. New owner may want to polish it more thoroughly.
