Here is a really great vintage card shuffler. It has the original box and the directions pamphlet. One side of the lid is missing. The shuffler is a mottled bluish gray enamel metal with a wooden handle. The ivory colored disc appears to be either celluloid or an early plastic. One side of the dark metal is marked: \"Johnson Card Shuffler Nestor Johnson Mfg. Co. Chicago Made in U. S. A. Patent No. 2, 706, 117\". It turns nicely. The directions say it might need a little oil at times. I noticed it occasionally catches slightly when being turned, so a little oil would help that. - I put a deck of cards in and it moves them, but one side works quicker than the other. After several times they were well shuffled. The directions state that the rollers might need to be scuffed a bit and wiped down to make them grab the cards - I didn\'t do this. It is very well made. Quite heavy. Weighs about 2 1/2 lbs. Please check my other sales for more treasures. I would be glad to consolidate sales to save on postage.
