This stunning hand painted porcelain stein was made by Wm. Guerin & Co. in Limoges, France sometime between 1900-1932 and painted by an artist with the initials HGM. There are 2 colors of luscious grapes and their green and yellow leaves hand painted against a muted background of pink, blue, copper brown and pale creamy yellow. The handle is also painted is several shades. Really a lovely piece of art. HGM is signed just above and to the right of the handle (see photo 2).
