This sale is for a beautiful old German copper pot, circa later 1800s by WMF in the art nouveau or arts and crafts style.(originally Würtemburgische Machin Fabrik AG), originally founded in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige, Germany. In 1880 there was an change of name toWürtemburgische Metallwaren Fabrik AG.The pot is hallmarked on the base with the WMF early pictorial \"ostrich mark.\" The pot is heavy and measures 8.5-9\" tall by about 9\" in diameter at base. The solid copper pot has 2 solid brass handles. The pot is in very fine condition. The pot shows some tarnish, aged patina. Please look at photos and ask questions before offerding.
