Offering a wonderfulvintage painted enamel Mesh Evening Bag/Purse with chain -- marked \"Elsah\" on the inside of the metal frame. \"Elsah\" is believed to be a division of the prestigious Whiting & Davis.

Enamel Mesh with hand painted purple/mauve stylized \"florals.\"

SUPERB gold tone metal frame. Bird silhouettes book ending the Floral button latch on top. Detailed embossed florals on the upper frame. Wonderful intricate detail.

Condition -- no holes in mesh. Colors are vivid. Mesh is sturdy and lustrous. Opens and closes smoothly. Linked chain -- sturdy and intact. Separation of mesh from both sides of metal frame. One side of the metal frame is missing the pin. Bottom \"fringe\" separated from bag proper at one end (about 1/4\") -- nothing distracting.

Measurements (approximate): 6 1/2\" long (top to bottom -- without chain), with a frame width of 3 1/2\" (side to side). Strap drop is 5 3/8\" long.
