This listing is foran exceptionalspoon carved wooden shelf. I assume under layers and layers of paint; the wood is oak.Cannot be certain.The shelf features an intricate carved detail on the front and the drawer front. Has a small brass key hole lock; and I\'m quite certain - judging by the shape -the tiny drawer handles are glass. In the center of the back is a wonderful 4 leaf design. Perhaps a clue to to craftsman that made it? The shelf measures 18\" across; 11\" tall; and 7 1/4\" deep on the top.Sure to become a favorite in your home.(It is not as bright white as my photos show. ) The back of the drawer front has the same carvings. they are quite deep.
