Antique Wyoming Antelope Pronghorn Shed/cuttoff Horns W/bone/sheath-big-nice :
This is a set of two (2) antique Wyoming Antelope Pronghorn Horns in natural condition - cut from the original pedicels, with bone showing. They are rich, dark brown in color with some nice looking natural sheath ridges and bumps - loaded with character - they measure 14 1/4" and 13 1/2" long. They each have a 6" circumference and together weigh just under two pounds. The longer antler is missing part of one tip - damaged from natural conditions in the wild - both sheath and bone are visible on the end of it. There are still some antelope hairs bristling around the ends where the sheath covers the bones. These horns have been in storage, away from sunlight and handling since at least the early 70's. This pair is unique, antique and beautiful and will most likely please any knife maker, artisan, or collector. There is a old grey and hardened substance near the sheath ends - at some point something caused it - but the source is unknown - it's difficult to see, but it is there and noted here, for the record - whatever it is seems to have no affect on anything. Note: these horns have LONG been in storage - the original owner has passed. See photos for the the best description. Will ship via USPS Priority Mail, cheapest way, calculated to your zip code. Thanks for viewing and for your offer, best regards.
