Beautiful strand of antique/art deco-era amber beads, in arich, beautiful golden mustard color – perhaps more on the side ofbrownish-gold than orange-gold. Approximately 26 inches in length total, for a13-inch drop. No clasp – these just slip over the head. They have beenrestrung. When they came to me years ago, via a dealer in the UK, the stringwas so weak and frayed that it had to be done for safety reasons. I haverecently restrung them, once again, on silk cord, so they are ready to wear.

These are in excellent condition. A few of the beads mayhave small marks and spots characteristic of amber. The largest, center beadhas a few nicks and marks that may be natural, or they could be the result ofsomeone sticking the beads with a hot pin (not me!!) to test them. Please seethe pictures. Weight is 49 grams. This is a gorgeous strand of beads, genuinelyold, ready to wear and enjoy.
