For \'Un Journee d\'Enfant\' (A Child\'s Day) The story of a day of the life of a little girl called Marguerite, a French book for children, published in 1889 by Henri Demesse based on the illustrations of Adrien Marie engraved by Clement Bellenger.

On a chine paper sheet, this is an original studio produced wood engraving and has not been taken from a book.

This excellent series of engravings is bright and unfaded in black ink. The image size measuring approximately 13 cms. x 18 cms. (5 x 7 ins.) on a folio chine paper sheet size 33 cms. x 32 cms. (13 x 12½ ins.)
Signed by Adrien Marie in the image.
Unframed and unmounted, blank on the reverse, the condition of the images and sheet is very good with handling marks condusive with age.
