Up for sale is what we call Rainbow Ore. It comes from Northern Nevada and is a new find. I and two friends mine this at a old mine, it has been assayed, and has gold, silver, platinum, pallidum, trace elements of Iridium as well as many other metals. Our theory is that this unusual, unique material may be caused by a meteorite impact, as the impact map of Nevada show. I am selling this as a mineral specimen, not for the metal content. I am amazed at its beauty and uniqueness. We are amateur miners, not professionals and my mining partner took over a year to find out what this is and what it was not. It is not the usual suspects, gothith, peacock ore, or hematite. This piece weighs 4oz, is 3.25 inches long,2 inches wide, and 1/2 thick. Most of the colour; vivid purples, blues and greens is on the front of the specimen, not much on back. Check out Arculadium on you tube.
