Striking Art Deco ceramic fruit bowl, designed by the artist Allan Ebeling for Bo Fajans (Sweden).
This is a large and decorative object, measuring c 26.5 cm (or 10.3 inches) in diameter.The bowl was originally designed by Ebeling in 1925, but this exciting art glaze was developed a little later and used during the period 1934-39, which is when this item was made.The condition of the object is excellent, with no cracks or chips, and the glaze is also in superb condition with only a few tiny surface scratches, only really noticable on close inspection.It\'s obviously a very decorative object in it\'s own right, but can also be put to good functional use as a fruit bowl etc.You\'re of course very welcome to contact me if you have any questions, and please check out my other items, including more European pottery and metalware from the late 19th and early 20th Century.
