Old Art Deco from 1900-1930s.plastic celluloid an exquisite, finely and delicately hand carved cross or crucifix with suspension ring in very good age condition, same scratches , yellowish patina, 1 very small size chip on bottom. .
The carving of grapes, vines and vine leaves, a symbol of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. The crucifix is made from a lightweight and hollow material with grains similar to that of a piece of bone-this not Natural Ivory!!!. This is made in material celluloid, which is first invented in 1862 and used during the Victorian era as a replacement material for bone -look like . The crucifix has a small loop for chain necklace.

Length:- 3.25\" with including suspension ring x 1 3/4\" width , very rare !!!!!
