Selling items for my mother, her cherished collectibles, as well as from Vintage Estate Jewelry and Collectible items from other estates we have inherited and acquired over the past few years. Some estate items are newer, within the last 4-10 years, but purchased and barely worn and just stored with estate collection. Please do not expect store bought perfect new items! Our items are sold \'AS IS\' or Vintage, meaning used condition, will show some signs of age, use, and wear expected with a pre-owned, used item. We will never guarantee our items to be in perfect condition, but then you would be paying department store prices! If items are clearly marked, we do not have it acid tested, especially if markings include designer’s markings. Unmarked items we have tested. If natural hairline internal cracks in stones, loose settings (that normally happen over the years) bother you, or expect perfect, then you do not want Vintage. Even jewelry that is brand new tends to have flaws. This is all Antique Art Deco/Nouveau, Victorian, Vintage and newer Collectible jewelry, all newer items have been stored and are still part of the humongous estate collection and may have been worn, but minimally. Silver jewelry with stones sometimes loosen over the years, and stones shift and accumulate hairline cracks. This is part of the charm of vintage jewelry. Anything distracting we will note in our listings, anything damaged we do not list. Of course we may miss some flaws even after examining and we do apologize, but we have also issued refunds for those (which have been few). We have researched all items, but are not experts, and have some great local resources, but please ask questions or share your knowledge too! We do not list anything that we would not wear ourselves!

THIS sale: WOW! You are not only getting the necklace, but clip back matching earrings that is a rare find, but a dress clip, which is bar far extremely rare! All pieces have incredible iridescent opalescent blue/green with a small amount of coral and a touch of pink coloring on Trochus shells. The earrings have a creamy coral colored shell flower with side trochus shells and dangling trochus shells as well. This has been part of a very large estate collection. Necklace appears to be strung on what appears to be cotton thread, very tight clusters so it is hard to see string, single brass bead on each end with a brass clasp. We counted at least 185 shells on the necklace, but we know there are a few more. It is approx. 17 ¾ inches from end to end, weighs 28.2 grams and is approx. ½ inches thick. The shells vary but measure approx. 8mm long and 8mm wide, the same for the earrings and dress clip. The dress clip also appears to be brass, some shells attached by threading onto the clip, then there are some with a chain attached to the clip with a shell dangling on the end. From the top rim of shells to the longest dangling shell it measures approx. 2 ½ inches long and 1 ¼ inches wide, weighs 13.5g. The earrings have a butterfly clip back for non pierced ears, measures 1 ¾ inches long and 14/16 inches wide, weighs together at 6.6g. What a fabulous find and a fantastic collectible set! In overall very nice condition, the dress clip has drilled holes for the rings that hang the shells from the chains, the earrings appear to be paste set to the chains. Normal wear due to age and typical erosion on some of the shells, but is quite common. The flowers on the earrings the same, but appears it may very well be original, paper thin. Please refer to the pictures for a more precise description and condition. How awesome this set would be for a Vintage Beach Wedding!
