Vintage regal Deco-style cast metal two-lamp wall light sconce fixture is being offered as a piece for restoration. This fixture has a knight and shield motif and would add the decor of a castle to any room. It is cast metal and very heavy. I think it is cast iron based on its heaviness but it could be a heavy-duty spelter. The fixture has a wonderful patina with a brass-finish-painted surface. There are some worn areas on the finish, but the fixture is in good shape with no cracks or breaks. It measures approximately 7 ½ \" wide by 11\" tall. I am unable to date this fixture, but a paper label on the back indicating that it was electrically tested looks quite old.See photo. The sockets and switch do not look ancient and may possibly be usable, perhaps they are not original to the piece? On the parts of the lamps that hold the bulbs, the cylindrical paper sleeve and outer candle-like covers are missing and were not with it when found. There is a maker name that I can’t completely make out, it looks something like: “CEPHASBROGERS”?? See photo. This a great vintage fixture ready for restoration!
