Modern styled Italian 1970s table lamp, known as the \"Ring\" model, was designed by Bruno Gecchelin and produced by Arteluce. The lamp featuresa high gloss charcoal gray colored enamelfinishwith chrome accents. Ithasa slender 45 degree angled swivelarm, and a two pieceadjustable aluminum shade withmetal top grate for filtered light.Thelamp is powered by aPL Type, 2 pin,13 watt compact fluorescentbulb (which can accommodate newer LED bulbs), controlled by an on/off switch under the shade. It has a round weighted steel base which accounts for most ofits 12lb. approximatetotal weight. The lamp stands 15 1/2 inches tall with a 19 inch arm span andhas a total width of 26 inches.This exquisite lamp was made in Italy, The shade isembossed “Arteluce” and there is a sticker under thebase which reads\"Flos USA, Atelier International Lighting, Plainsville, N.Y.\"

The lamp is in excellent condition. There are some light scratches on the shade and a fewminor paint loss nicks to the base (see photos 9 & 10). The chrome looks like new. It was tested at the time of listing and works extremely well.
