First edition, illustrated by Arthur Rackham, published in 1916 in London by William Heinemann, with an introduction by Edmond Gosse. 122 pages, 13 stories, 12 color plates and numerous black/white illustrations.
Almost very good condition. Blue cloth with gilt vignette. Less shelf wear than usual for a century old book, spine and corners bumped with some cloth loss but in good condition, foxing to the first and last page (closest to the covers) but otherwise clean throughout. Solid spine and netting. All illustrations in excellent condition. This book is a true treasure.
