No makers mark. Clearing marked on 2 sides of nice latch, Pat 12-15-31.

Lots of things that need attention. There is grime, some staining, wear and even a tiny bit of mold on the leather. What it has going for it is no cracks to the leather, no tears to the suide, the latch works (you push it in to close, turn the dangling latch to open) and NO MISSING STICHES. Color is more on the reddish brown, difficult to photograph.

I do not clean or polish these, the leather and metal is as found. It appears at one time someone has attempted to polish this. I found this years ago up in historic Snohomish, Washington north of Seattle. I\'ve owned it for about 15 years and it looks like the day I found it. Has been sitting in a drawer.

Needs some love and a good home but worth it. LOVELY design.

Approx 8 1/2 inches by 7 1/4 inches not including the handle (body of purse). Hands about 12 inches from top of handle to bottom of the purse. There are 2 small side pockets inside which would have held a small mirror and make up or change.

9.5 ounces unpacked weight.
