WILLIAM GIBBS McADOO(1863-1941). McAdoo was the Secretary of the Treasury under Woodrow Wilson and later served as Senator from California.

TLS. 1pg. July 6, 1935. Washington D.C. A typed letter signed“Harry S. Truman”as Senator from Missouri. It is on“United States Senate Committee on Appropriations”letterhead and is addressed to fellow Senator and committee member William Gibbs McAdoo.“Dear Senator: I will certainly be pleased to come to your party at Shoreham, July Tenth. I like that last paragraph fine. Sincerely,Harry S. Truman”. The letter is in fine condition.
