Beingoffered for sale is a great sterling silver letter opener made by Asprey of London. A figural piece designed as a miniature swordcomplete with a leather scabbard/case.The sword measures 8 ¾” long including the handle (the handle measures 15/8”). Both the sword and handle aresterling as well as the ferrule on the case.The blade is stamped “ASPREY LONDON”on one side and “STERLING SILVER” on the other.
