The following is an Authentic CHAIM GROSS Mid Century Bronze on Wood Sculpture known as \"Caring\".
This wonderful bronze sculpture from a local estate is by world famous CHAIM GROSS (1904-1991).Beautiful work of art. Name is embedded on the end of the Bronze.Original Estate Condition with Brown Patina. However, there does show wear of age on one side of the Wooden base as shown in the photographs.
Dimensions of bronze only: 5 Inches Tall by 5 Inches Wide. The base is an additional 2 1/2 inches Tall. The artist did several versions of \"CARING\" of different size and bronze finish.An example of the model for sale here was sold by Rose Hill sale Gallery on Oct. 13, 2008.Chaim Gross was born in Europe and eventually emigrated to the U.S. where he became famous for his modernist works of art.This bronze was done during the mid century (late 1950\'s to early 1960\'s).Please take a look at the photographs for more details.
