What an awesome antique Victorian era Lady\'s Petticoat.
It\'s in excellent antique condition. The slip measures about 12 1/2\" across waist laid flat so the waist is about 25\". It\' measures 36\" long down the front. This is an incredibly well made slip with much detail. There is pin tucking above both rows of crocheting. The ruffled bottom has an underlayer of cotton too which is edged in lace. It looks like they shortened the slip at sometime or built in a way to lengthen it when it was made just above the ruffled bottom. See photos.
No rips, tears or worn spots. Has button closure at waist. I did see a couple very tiny spots which were hard to photograph, but I think one showed up. You have to look to see them, just a tiny bit of discoloring, but they are there so I want you to know about it. This is truly an excellent example of women\'s slips of the era. Don\'t miss it.
