A superbpair of Georgian sterling silver serving spoons. They are hallmarked for London1797 with the maker’s marks being BP over AB for Peter and Ann Bateman. Forthose interesting in hallmarks it is worth nothing that this date letter wasused specifically between 6 July 1797 until 28thMay 1798 – see have beautifully fluted bowls and have been engraved WWM. They are in superbcondition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure 8.75 inches(22.2cms) long and weigh 133 grams. Very good quality interesting examples bydesirable makers.
