This museum quality silver dish dates back to early 19th century. The drawing and designs are superb, intricately detailed. Scalloped at edges, the dish measures 7\" across and 1/2\" high, resting on a circular base. 16 animals are grouped in pairs around the piece, which is heavily articulated with floral and scroll-type designs. Weight is 7 .5 ounces. Any orange tint on the silver is caused by light, it is pure and marked. A wonderful, early Persian work. Thanks for looking!
