BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE ART DECO SIGNED ETLING FRANCE OPALESCENT VASE (1920-30)

Edmond Etling founded La Societe Anonyme Edmond Etling in 1909. The works he commissioned were sold at his shop in Paris. He used designs from top freelance designers of the period. Glassworks were by Sabino, Lalique & Verly as well as others & often opalescent. Edmond was taken to a concentration camp in 1940 where he died. His works are highly respected & collected.

This opalescent vase has a leaf design. See photos for details. Signed on the bottom: Etling, France (difficult to capture in photographs). The vase stands 7-1/4\" tall on a 3-1/4\" diameter base with a 2-3/8\" diameter across the top. Measures 6-1/2\" across at the widest point. Weighs 2 pounds 10.8 ounces. Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. A lovely antique collectible!!
