This listing is for a beautiful pair of Japanese basse taille cloisonné vases from the early 20th century. The vases are decorated with tightly clustered small flowers impressed on the underlying foil. Both vases have stronger color on the shoulders which gradually lessens in intensity lower on the vase until the very bottom is clear. One of the vases is turquoise in color and the other is violet and both have the makers mark on the bottom and are about 5 inches tall.Thevases are in excellent condition with the exception that bothhave a couple hard to see stress lines. These are a pretty pair of vases that display nicely.
