BEAUTIFUL RUSSIAN CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPTYCH TRAVELING ICON 19TH-20TH CENTURY. Looks to be made of Silver with a Silver Rope Wire around edges and form the leaves with Enamel Paint within. Looks like it could be worn as a Pendant because there is a Loop on the top. Great Old Original Antique Russian Triptych.

I have not tested the case fro silver content I only said it looks silver to me. A magnet does not stick to it but that still doesn\'t mean its silver 100%. It is has a lot of patina and grim build up from many years. There is a nub where there was maybe a latch type devise and it looks to be Copper in color on its high points. Could be a Silver Finish over brass or copper but I don\'t think it matters a Great Deal with this Nice Piece.

It is my guess that the images are painted on metal and these small metal panels are nailed or pinned to a Wood Substrate behind them. But I don\'t know for sure and wouldn\'t know unless I took the item apart ... and I don\'t want to do that.
