BOXED Set of 6 SOLID SILVER Tea KNIVES. MAPPIN & WEBB RETAIL 1926. F C Asman:

A fine and clean boxed set of six Mappin & Webb retail solid silver handled tea knives with steel blades. They are in their original fitted box.

Hallmarks: The handles are English sterling silver hallmarked for Sheffield 1926 (Crown, Lion Passant, Date Letter i). The maker\'s mark \'F C A & Co \' refers to the silversmiths F C Asman & Co. The blades are \'rustless steel\'

Dimensions: They are 18cm long and weigh about c27.5g each, with a combined weight of 157.4g.

Condition: The knives are all in excellent condition, with no dings, splits or repairs. The box is also in excellent condition and closes with a good \'snap\'.
