DESCRIPTION: This listing is for one pair of handmade SILVER lame hip boots for vintage mod fashions, made using an actual mod boot for a pattern. These boots are made of a high shine, tricot-backed lame. HOWEVER, please note that this lame fabric has more \"body\" or stiffness to it and makes for a thicker boot in the heel and toe than the original vintage mod boots by Mattel (see photos). The shine of the boots could best be described as being as shiny as the bodice on the recent Mattel reproduction of Zokko. These boots would be great for creating a different look for your vintage outfits, to add variety to your display, or to make your own OOAK outfit with the various separate pieces readily available on .
