On Wednesday, August 30, 1972, John Lennon, Yoko Ono and Elephant\'s Memory did two benefit shows for mentally challenged kids at Madison Square Garden in New York, one in the afternoon and one in the evening, billed as One To One. The afternoon performance was released as Live in New York Cityin 1986. Many thought the evening show was the stronger show. The five songs on this CD are all from the evening show:

It was John\'s last full-scale concert.
