Please note: This is the last time I will be listing this darling doll. If you have purchased dolls from me before, you know that I list every little flaw and that customers are pleased and pleasantly surprised when they receive the dolls at how lovely they are in person. I have been downsizing, but I am happy to keep this doll if she doesn\'t sell.
The price listed is much less than I paid for her.
This lovely 18\" hard plastic Arranbee doll is either Nanette or Nancy Lee. Her face coloring is beautiful. Her blush and lips are vibrant and her painted brows don\'t appear to be faded.
Her blue sleep eyes have full brush lashes and painted lower lashes. There are a couple of tiny spots on the whites of her eyes.
I don\'t know if her wig is original, but it still has the hairpins and hairnet. I think the bow may have been added, but not sure. There is some glue residue under her bangs.
Her body is in good shape. There are some rubs on her neck and a few areas of small scuffs where the paint is lighter. The most notable are on her legs and are pictured. There are also a few places on her hands. But these areas are faint and do not detract from her beauty when displayed.
Her dress is probably an Arranbee original but is not marked. I have seen similar dresses marked as original Arranbee. It is definitely vintage. The red and white striped portion is a sateen of some sort. The lace trimmed collar and attached ruffles on the side are a stiff organdy. The dress buttons in the back.
Her undies, shoes and socks look to be replaced. Her cute little purse is vintage store stock and has been added. There are a few chew marks on one side. See photos.
This doll has no odor. Just a darling display doll--so sweet looking, just like a little girl from the 1950\'s.
