This ring can be resized by a good jeweler (it may change the style of the band) and keep in mind that the fingers on the hand display are slender.

The opal in this ring is so much prettier in person! Very nice stone and unique design of a ring! ***I used to only prefer natural opal, but Native American pieces have some of the highest quality lab opal that I have seen. This opal looks very close to a natural stone. In addition, lab opals are much more durable, which is important with a ring.***

This is just a wonderfully designed ring with a beautiful stone created by Navajo artists Richard and RitaBegay, a husband and wife team.

The middle of this wide band sits right on the 6 1/2 on my sizing mandrel, but it fits more like a 5 3/4 to6 because of the wide band. This is a \"cigar\" style band ring.You have to like wide bands to wear this ring. ***I want to add that I had the back of the band narrowed a bit to make it more comfortable to wear, since it is sowide. It is so subtle, ...it was almost like this band was wider in back like some cigar bands can be. Now it is just a tiny bit narrower in back, it will be more comfortable on.

The band is 5/8\" at its widest down to 1/2\" at its narrowest and the ring weighs 11g. The bezel set lab opal is about 1/2\" x 3/8\", a nice size. The opal is a very high quality lab stone...very pretty. There is a nice pattern to the shank. The opal has unique silverwork around it, so it sits up a bit on the bandand looks very regal.

It is in excellent condition and hallmarked: RB Sterling, which is the hallmark for Navajo artists Richard and Rita Begay, a husband and wife team.

This is a piece that will last a lifetime. (The value will only increase with time, as well.)
