This listing features a vintage antique hand crafted quilt of 8-pointed stars of multi-colored calico dating to 1877 as shown in the photos.

The quilt measures 84\" x 70\"; is shown in my bed which is a full sized bed....hangs down each side (as shown) will fit a single and full I believe.

It is in wonderful condition, does have some wear to a specific star which is shown in the last photo. Others are in wonderful condition. The colors are still quite vibrant and the backing is a muted brown calico fabric as shown. It is in great condition especially for it\'s age!

I\'m sure it was used over the years but has been stored safely for decades and only just given to me after my mother passed away. This quilt was made by my great, great, great grandmother and according to the notes that came with the quilts this one was made between the 1850s and 1870s.

Genuine antique quilt from the south (Louisiana) that has survived for the past 150+ years and is ready for a new home! The pattern consists of an 8-point star as shown in the photos.
I\'ve done my best to accurately describe the condition so if you have questions please ask prior to offerding (if it\'s an issue). It\'s a 150+ year old textile so it does have some wear.
