My name is Roma and I am selling some interesting and one of a kind objects from the past I had a chance to collect for many years. It is time to downsize my collection related to early steam and mechanical wonders and gain funds for further projects. This is an amazing chance for collectors, enthusiasts and museums to obtain unique artifacts. Up for sale is a one of a kind original scratch built model of a steam engine made around 1890s by Emile Dorge. This is a horizontal type of a steam engine with what I believe a pumping mechanism. Every detail in this model is made by hand. The materials are metal, brass, wood. The name tag of the maker presents. It is interesting that back in the days some people were writing their second name first, and this name plaque is a good example. Everything is in unrestored and uncleaned condition. Beautiful patina is still present. I do not run the engines in my collection on steam or air and I enjoy them as aesthetic wonders of the industrial past. When I turn a flywheel the rod is moving, which means that the model should be still in working condition and the piston inside a cylinder is not frozen. Notice also interesting decorative parts in this engine. Such small details make early scratch built engines are unique looking masterpieces. Dimensions: Base is 12 in. by 8 in.; Flywheel diameter is 5 1/2 in. The engine is heavy and appears to be extremely well crafted.
