Beautiful Antique Vintage Silk & Lace Folding Fan. It is hand-painted, with a woman sitting on a tree branch, and roses and other flowers. Some wear consistent with age/use, including wear/fraying to the silk at the folds, water stains, and a number of small black dots and other stains. But as you can see it is still in good displayable condition. The wood pieces are painted to look like tortoiseshell. This fan is fairly large: 14\" folded length.
