WELCOME and thanks for stopping by. Here for your consideration is a SUPER CRUDE civil war era Dr.J. HOSTETTER\'S STOMACH BITTERS in amazing and original condition. This bottle exhibits allthe qualities that serious collectors look and go wild for. Truly a TOP SHELF example if I ever saw one. I\'ve had a few of theseblack beauties in my collection, but this has got to be the best of the best. The whole base is kind ofangled just a bit and the one panel has a depression in it deep enough to hold water. Lots of little seedbubbles and just a couple of larger ones. The neck is basically nonexistent and fluctuates between 3/8to 1/2 an inch with a big ooze of glass dripping down from the perfect applied lip. And the icing on thecake is that while the glass is dark, it still allows plenty of light to pass through to show off the colorof beautiful yellow olive green glass. I\'m really going to miss this bottle, but it\'s going towards a goodcause. 9 1/4 inches in height and there\'s also the number 4 embossed on the base. I\'ve never seen another one like that. !
