Beautiful Georgian Style Silver Hallmarked Tea set, this has an Initial on the side (A) which belonged to our beloved Grandmother Eleanor Abson, so was made and bought for her.

I believed it was made in Birmingham at the end of 1928.

It has an overall weight of 593g

It\'s a stunning teapot milk jug and sugar bowl set, and is in a used condition, it will look stunning in a display or to grace anyone\'s table.

I can tell you that This particular piece was used to make a cups of tea for the late Sir Bernard Miles, who was Eleanors brother in law, he founded the Mermaid Theatre in London, his wife Josephine Wilson ( actress known for being in the Lady Vanishes 1938) and his great Friend Spike Milligan also called in for Tea! At there Pateley Bridge residence, Bernard and Josephine also starred in the first animated film Tom Thumb amongst other films! So this tea set has quite some history!

I have been advised that the metal value alone is close to £200 so the starting price really is low, grab a beautiful tea set which has a little bit of history too.

Just to reiterate this is an old set and is in a used condition so will have some marks etc, all of which I have been told are normal I have also been advise it is worth every penny it is saleed for, the buy it now was previously set for £350 which was low and again advised that it is worth more.Thank you for your interest.
